Emma Kate Sanderson, 84, of Detroit, Ala. passed away on Tuesday, June 04, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Sulligent on December 13, 1939, to Clyde Lockhart and Brooksie Webb Lockhart.
She is survived by her husband, Olan Alvin Sanderson; sons, Fray Sanderson and John F. Sanderson; daughter, Donna K. Sanderson; grandchildren, Christy (Josh) Pavlovec, John Deven (Ashley)Sanderson and Bryant Byrd; great-grandchildren, Jackson Pavlovec, John Luke Sanderson and Kylie Pavlovec; sisters, Barbara Woods of Guin and Bettie Sue Connor of Winfield; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Brooksie Lockhart; and brothers, Auzzie Lockhart and Jeff Lockhart.
Services were held on June 07, 2024, at Marion County Funeral Home. Interment at Cooper Cemetery.
