Guin man killed in motorcycle accident

TWIN — A motorcycle rider was killed after injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 253 in Twin on Monday night, June 22.
According to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Justin Stidham, 25, of Guin, was critically injured after his motorcycle was struck by a car. The impact sent the bike off the road and into a sign, and Stidham was thrown from the motorcycle.
Stidham was transported to North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss., and the driver of the car, who also sustained injuries, was transported to North Mississippi Health Services-South Marion in Winfield. No information regarding her condition was made public by ALEA.
A week later, on Monday, June 29, Stidham was pronounced deceased at the hospital as a result of the injuries he sustained during the accident.
