Vickie Swims
Vickie Lynn Swims, 69, of Haleyville, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her residence. Vickie was born in Detroit, Mich., on Aug. 4, 1955, to William M. Clark Jr. and Lynia Carden Clark.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Cynthia Haynes (Steven Isaiah); grandchild, Zia Bowen; sister, Denise Richerson (Dudley); brother, William “Bill” Clark (Angie); a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Swims; grandson, Aiden Bowen; sister, Darlene Craven; and brother-in-law, Scotty Craven.
The graveside service was held on July 5, 2025, at Liberty Grove Cemetery in Haleyville with Brother John Davis officiating.
